Holland park | Surrey, bC
This series of elaborate pools is located within Surrey's first truly urban park. Dubbed the Central Park of Surrey’s downtown, this high profile public space was the site of 2010 Winter Olympic Games celebrations.
The multi-faceted water feature includes five discreetly situated pools that are cleverly linked to operate using a single energy efficient mechanical system.
The ornamental pools are intersected by water walkways, spraying fountains and a "blooming" river of spectacular metallic floral sculptures balanced on pedestals, part of a public art display by Bruce Voyce. This unique water feature is a public recreational and social hub for local families, students and office workers.
