callisto & carina | vancouver, bC
Three unique architectural waterworks add interest to the public spaces of these luxurious residential high-rises. Set in Vancouver’s upscale Coal Harbour neighbourhood, the buildings are known for their distinctive curvilinear design in the shape of a sail.
The exterior water feature at the entryway of Carina East consists of a stone filled pool that flows over a waterfall and transitions to a channel shaped water garden. The main lobby of the Callisto West building is embellished with an interior water wall that integrates stone and stainless steel.
The third water feature, a waterfall flowing over large glass panels into a stone pond, adds an artistic element to the community courtyard.
